Mohammad Kermani said the petrochemical sector
had for years demonstrated trust in the capabilities of local manufacturers and
knowledge-driven producers, helping to create stable conditions for industrial
upgrading, technological independence and sustainable growth.
Speaking during a visit to the factory of Parsian
Sazeh Iranianan, a domestic manufacturer of industrial equipment operating
under PRTC licences, Kermani said the company was ready to expand cooperation
with capable local firms, particularly in supplying proprietary, licensed
equipment for petrochemical projects.
The visit included discussions on equipment
produced for the Islam Abad-e Gharb GTPP project, which uses technology
developed by PRTC. Kermani said specialised equipment designers and
manufacturers played a key role in the long-term development of Iran’s petrochemical
industry.
He said PRTC, drawing on decades of experience
and access to advanced technical know-how, aimed to identify and deploy
domestic manufacturing capacity to promote technology upgrading,
commercialisation of innovations and standardisation of equipment quality
across the sector.
PRTC operates research and development centres in
Arak, Mahshahr and Tehran and has played a central role in building the
technological foundations of Iran’s petrochemical industry, he added.
