The meeting, hosted by Pardis Petrochemical in Asaluyeh,
brought together health and safety officials from multiple regional companies
to strengthen coordination and share best practices. Mandana Aghabigi, head of
health at the National Petrochemical Company, praised Pardis Petrochemical for
its achievements and described the company as a regional benchmark in health
management.
The committee focused on emergency healthcare management,
providing guidelines drafted by the regional HSE office for company review
before formal regional adoption. Ongoing initiatives such as noise pollution
and toxicity mapping were also discussed.
According to Aghabigi, Pardis Petrochemical has made
significant strides in recent years, including upgrading and expanding its
clinic, establishing a large specialized medical center with burn and
resuscitation facilities, increasing hospital beds, and implementing technical
projects that have resulted in multiple patents.
Mohsen Diranlu, HSE director at Pardis Petrochemical,
emphasized that systematic occupational health planning is critical in Asaluyeh
due to the region’s inherent industrial risks. He noted the company’s regular
industrial medical checkups, health monitoring systems, and a dedicated digital
platform to track employee well-being. A 648-square-meter medical facility
provides both treatment and periodic examinations for staff.
The meeting concluded with participants reaffirming the
importance of continued collaboration among regional companies to advance
occupational health and safety standards.
