The project, reported by state media citing the company's
public relations on Monday, emphasized domestic manufacturing of Iranian-made
parts and utilization of local builders, marking a significant step in reducing
foreign currency dependence and bolstering the internal supply chain.
During the overhaul, compressor blades and turbine
insulators were designed and produced by Iranian firms and integrated into
service, facilitating technology transfer and achieving a new level of
industrial self-reliance.
Additionally, key turbine sections were renovated and
rebuilt through ongoing company maintenance efforts and support from balancing
service providers on a broad scale to improve equipment reliability and
operational stability.
A key aspect of the repairs involved addressing vibration
sources in the turbine and enhancing its dynamic performance.
The unit's reinstatement strengthens the reliable supply of
essential utilities and ensures continuous output at petrochemical facilities
in the area.
