Speaking at the signing of the MoU during the “Energy Cycle”
exhibition, Etemadi said the initiative creates opportunities for
public-private collaboration, enabling the replacement of outdated power plants
and the adoption of efficiency-enhancing measures.
He added that private sector participation is expected to improve fuel
and water use efficiency, increase plant output, and support sustainable
development in the electricity industry. Etemadi urged petrochemical companies
to participate actively in the program to help achieve national energy goals.
