NPC Opens New Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation Center in Tehran

TEHRAN, August 24 (NIPNA)— The National Petrochemical Company has opened a new physiotherapy and rehabilitation center at its Ghadir Clinic in Tehran, expanding health-care services available to employees.

The center was inaugurated on the first day of Iran’s Government Week and coinciding with Doctors’ Day, with the participation of Omid Shakeri, Deputy Petroleum Minister and acting head of the National Petrochemical Company, and Mohammad-Javad Kian, head of the Oil Industry Health Organization’s Tehran Oil Hospital and health-care operations.

The facility was established jointly by NPC and the Oil Industry Health Organization, according to NIPNA.

The center has capacity to treat 15 patients a day and is equipped with three treatment cabins as well as physiotherapy technologies including laser and magnet therapy.

The facility is intended to improve employee health and support the prevention of occupational fatigue, NPC said.

Before the opening ceremony, Shakeri visited the Ghadir Clinic and its occupational health center and congratulated medical staff on Doctors’ Day.

The new facility forms part of NPC’s efforts to expand health and rehabilitation services for employees while strengthening preventive health care across the company.
