According to the company’s public relations office, total production
reached over 2.6 million tonnes, up 9% from the same period last year — the
highest semiannual output since 2017.
Feedstock intake rose 12% year-on-year to more than 2 million tonnes,
also the highest in eight years. The company’s NGL feedstock exceeded 1.35
million tonnes, with daily processing peaking at about 120,000 barrels,
ensuring stable plant operations.
Exports surpassed 1 million tonnes, a 46% increase compared with the
same period last year, generating more than US$585 million in foreign exchange
revenue.
Development projects also showed steady progress, with the ethane
pre-separation unit reaching 78% physical completion, the power plant control
and instrumentation system upgrade advancing 58%, and the chlor-alkali unit
recording 32% progress.
Bandar Imam Petrochemical, one of Iran’s largest and oldest complexes,
said these results demonstrate its growing contribution to national economic
resilience and underscore its strategic role in the country’s petrochemical
value chain.
