Hassan Nezhat, CEO of Siraf Energy, said the operation included three
reactors weighing more than 360 tons each and one process drum, all
manufactured by Arak Machinery Company.
“This achievement demonstrates the engineering capabilities of Iranian
specialists, who leveraged domestic expertise and locally produced equipment to
complete process area installations in record time,” Nezhat said.
Of the 192 heavy process units exceeding 20 tons each, totaling more
than 14,335 tons, 181 units weighing roughly 12,800 tons have now been
installed. The equipment includes reactors, towers, drums, reformers, and heat
exchangers, all essential to methanol production.
Nezhat emphasized that the installation required precise engineering
planning, full coordination among execution teams, use of high-capacity cranes,
and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.
“The record not only accelerates project progress but also underscores
confidence in the country’s engineering capabilities and domestic industrial
capacity, paving the way for sustainable growth in Iran’s petrochemical
sector,” he added.
