At the meeting, Javad Ebdali, Chief Auditor of
the Supreme Audit Court, said the oil and petrochemical industries have the
full backing of supervisory institutions, adding that petrochemicals—“as a
leading and transformative sector”—can drive both economic and industrial
growth.
He stressed that the directives outlined for
executive agencies must be pursued “with seriousness and precision,” noting
that implementation and oversight are complementary pillars in realizing the
plan’s goals.
“To achieve the target of 8 percent economic
growth, effective cooperation between executive and supervisory entities must
become institutionalized,” Ebdali said. “The Audit Court stands ready to
provide any necessary support for the success of the country’s development
programs.”
Hassan Abbaszadeh, Deputy Petroleum Minister and
NPC Managing Director, highlighted the company’s efforts to align its
operations with the national development plan. He said the formation of a
dedicated committee on the Seventh Development Plan within NPC reflects its
strategic importance.
Continuous coordination with the Audit Court,
Abbaszadeh added, will ensure regular monitoring of development projects and
enable timely policy adjustments based on assigned mandates.
“With the cooperation of petrochemical holdings
and companies, we are committed to meeting the targets defined under the plan
and contributing to the country’s balanced industrial growth,” he said.
