Speaking at the launch during the 19th IranPlast exhibition, Naser
Nohjah, CEO of the Research and Technology Company, said that the
organization’s core mission is to develop technical knowledge of materials and
catalysts essential for the petrochemical sector. “Over the past 26–27 years,
we have achieved self-sufficiency in polyolefin process knowledge and made
significant advances in catalyst development,” he noted. He added that
industrial production of domestically developed catalysts is expected in the coming
months.
The SamaP platform, according to Nohjah, eliminates bureaucratic
hurdles, standardizes product specifications, and provides easy access to
accurate data for downstream industries. “Previously, a software system
contained the specifications of polymer grades, but SamaP represents a major
step forward by increasing transparency and accessibility,” he said, crediting
senior executives Dr. Motaghi and Dr. Abbaszadeh for supporting the project.
Looking ahead, the company plans to expand SamaP to include chemical
products, with the creation of reference laboratories to further enhance the
supply chain. Nohjah emphasized that the initiative strengthens the technical
backbone of Iran’s petrochemical sector and facilitates sustainable development
across downstream industries.
