The volume, titled The Comprehensive Exhibition Guide, was
written by Esfandiar Salahiatpour, a veteran public relations executive in
Iran’s petrochemical industry, and published by the National Petrochemical
Company’s public relations office.
Covering every stage from registration and booth selection to
professional design, exhibitor training, marketing, and post-event evaluation,
the 264-page book is described as a practical manual for achieving effective
participation. “Successful attendance requires knowledge, planning and precise
execution,” the NPC’s head of public relations wrote in the preface.
Salahiatpour, who previously headed PR at Marun Petrochemical, drew on
decades of experience in domestic and international fairs. His personal notes
and field observations – ranging from booth layout to visitor engagement –
eventually evolved into the book, whose release was delayed during the COVID-19
pandemic before being updated and finalized.
“This book is the product of a union between what I have seen and what
I have learned – a lasting narrative for all those who want to make their
presence felt in the world of exhibitions,” Salahiatpour wrote in the
introduction.
The guide, published by Behavioral Sciences Press in summer 2025, was
distributed to participants of IranPlast, the Middle East’s largest
petrochemical exhibition, which ran Sept. 8–11 at Tehran’s international
fairgrounds.
