Baba Abbasov, head of business development and marketing at ADY Express, said his firm’s participation at the fair was aimed at connecting with Iranian producers of petrochemical, chemical and polymer products.
"As a subsidiary of Azerbaijan Railways, ADY Express provides international rail freight services through Azerbaijan," Abbasov told reporters. "Given the scale of Iran’s industrial output, particularly in petrochemicals, there are significant opportunities to expand transit cooperation."
He highlighted the International North-South Transport Corridor as a key regional route for moving industrial goods from Iran to northern markets, adding that ADY Express is prepared to provide rail freight services for Iranian exporters along this corridor.
Abbasov praised the organization of IranPlast, calling it "a well-structured event that creates space for business discussions." He said ADY Express had already held initial meetings with several companies during the exhibition’s opening days.
"Producers in this sector need efficient logistics solutions to expand exports," Abbasov said. "As trade volumes grow between producers and customers, demand for transport services will rise, and our company is ready to meet that demand."
He added that ADY Express welcomes cooperation with Iranian firms in rail transport and hopes such partnerships will strengthen regional trade.
