TEHRAN (NIPNA) – Iran’s Oil Industry Health and Treatment Organization has received 100 state-of-the-art ambulances equipped with advanced medical technology and built to the highest international standards, the organization announced on Sunday.

According to Seyed Abdolmajid Shoja, the organization’s managing director, the vehicles will be deployed across the body’s 16 regional branches, enhancing its emergency response capacity. “The aging ambulance fleet was a key reason behind this acquisition, which was initiated nearly three years ago but faced delays in clearance until last month,” he said.

Shoja noted that the successful delivery was made possible through continuous efforts and inter-agency coordination, including support from the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, the Law Enforcement Command of the Islamic Republic of Iran, as well as backing from the Oil Minister, the CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), and senior officials.

“These ambulances are tailored to the specific geographic and operational needs of each region and will be distributed accordingly among affiliated medical centers,” Shoja said.

He expressed hope that the new additions will significantly strengthen the organization’s ability to manage emergencies and critical health situations within the oil sector.
