TEHRAN (NIPNA) – The 3rd Iran Petrochemical Value Chain Conference, initially scheduled for July 12–14, has been postponed to August 25-27, organizers confirmed on Tuesday.

The conference will focus on “Emerging Technologies and Investment” and will take place in Tehran as part of broader efforts to align with the goals of Iran’s Seventh Development Plan.

Hosted by the National Petrochemical Company (NPC) and other key stakeholders, the event aims to outline strategic plans for expanding the petrochemical value chain. Senior officials and industry experts will discuss challenges and opportunities in the development of methanol, ethylene, propylene, and aromatics value chains.

Key themes include boosting value-added production, expanding and diversifying export markets, reducing raw material exports, meeting domestic demand, conserving foreign exchange, and fostering job creation through sustainable petrochemical development.
