According to IME data, total trade volume in the physical market
reached approximately 2.09 million tonnes, with a cumulative transaction value
exceeding 404 trillion rials (approx. $725 million). The top 10 companies alone
accounted for more than 153 trillion rials in sales.
Leading the week’s rankings was National Iranian Copper Industries Co.
with 4,464 tonnes of copper, molybdenum sulfur, and precious metals
concentrates sold for 38.88 trillion rials.
Esfahan’s Mobarakeh Steel Company came second with 89,450 tonnes of
slabs and steel sheets sold for 33.09 trillion rials, followed by Hormozgan
Steel Company in third place with 40,000 tonnes of slabs worth 11.94 trillion
rials.
Other top sellers included Kashan’s Donyaye Mes copper producer,
Khuzestan Steel, Bandar Abbas and Esfahan oil refineries, Khorasan Steel
Complex, and Chadormalu Mining & Industrial Company.
Shahid Tondguyan’s strong presence on the weekly leaderboard reflects
robust demand for PET and polyester products, reaffirming its position as a key
player in Iran’s downstream petrochemical market.
