According to the firm’s public relations office, the incident was
caused by an oil leak from one of the rotating machines, which led to the
ignition of lubricant and the emission of thick black smoke in part of the
unit.
Emergency response teams quickly brought the fire under control. No
injuries were reported, and safety protocols were promptly implemented to
secure the affected equipment.
Fanavaran Petrochemical confirmed that all other production units at
the complex remain fully operational and continue to function normally.
