According to official data, 459,552 tons of various polymer products
and 163,929 tons of chemical materials changed hands in May. These transactions
took place at the Petroleum and Petrochemical Products Hall, where a total of 2.22
million tons of goods were traded—worth 77.69 trillion IRR—across both domestic
and export segments.

Additionally, 4.8 million tons of cement were sold through the Cement
Hall, while the Automotive Hall recorded the sale of 172 vehicles. The
Agricultural Hall hosted trades of 4,100 kilograms of saffron worth 402 billion
IRR.
In the IME’s secondary market, 168,702 tons of various products were
traded, totaling 2.38 trillion IRR in value.
