"We are ready to work with
knowledge-based companies and start-ups to meet the needs of the petrochemical
industry," said Ali Pajouhan on Monday.
Addressing the second day of the
gathering of oil industry startups and tech companies, Pajouhan said cooperation
with academic centers, knowledge-based companies and startups could lead to
addressing the industrial needs of the country.
“We have a very good relationship
with researchers in different sectors and due to favorable infrastructure and
facilities at the Petrochemical Research and Technology Company in Tehran, Arak
and Mahshahr, we are ready to test the items produced by knowledge-based companies
and start-ups and introduce them to the petrochemical industry in line with the
existing standards.”
He further said that PRTC had
signed many contracts with petrochemical companies to meet their needs.
