The CEO of the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (PGPIC),
Jafar Rabiei, said on Saturday that the industry generated 10 billion dollars
for the country by exporting items last year.
Over 70 petrochemical products are being produced in Iran which will increase
to 300 items by the next two years provided that several under-construction
projects come on stream.
Some 18 projects have been defined in the country to be launched.
