Elyas Hazrati made the remarks on Saturday, Nov. 1, at the
84th meeting of the Government Communications Coordination Council, hosted by
the Oil Ministry.
He said the meeting addressed concerns arising from the
wartime situation, the need to manage domestic energy consumption and efforts
to reduce the use of petroleum products, particularly gasoline and diesel.
Hazrati identified the reconstruction of damaged
infrastructure as another key government priority, saying the administration
must continue rebuilding the country while managing the consequences of war.
He stressed that reconstruction work in the oil sector, as
well as in the road and airport sectors, must proceed continuously to prevent
disruptions to the country’s operations and essential activities.
The official also highlighted the regular meetings of the
Government Communications Coordination Council, which have been held since the
current administration took office. He said the sessions are intended to review
key developments and issues of the week and improve coordination among
government bodies.
Under the meeting format, the host minister or agency head
presents an update on the organization’s activities and the main subject under
discussion. Participants then examine operational challenges and media-related
issues, raise questions and exchange views with relevant officials.
Hazrati expressed hope that the discussions would help
improve public communication and provide the public with accurate information
about the oil industry’s activities and plans.
