Accompanied
by a number of senior petrochemical executives, Mr. Mohammadi learned about the
latest developments in the hub. He was appointed at the CEO of the company last
month and replaced Reza Norouzzadeh.
To be fed
by South Pars gas field and Jam Petrochemical Plant, Padjam Petrochemical Plant,
located in Assaluyeh, has progressed 81 percent so far, and is aimed at
production of ABS, stated its managing director during Mr. Mohammadi’s visit.
Moreover,
Bushehr Petrochemical Plant is ready for startup, said the plant’s CEO.
Mr.
Mohammadi also learned about the development process of other plants that were either
operating in the region or are under way.
