The project is being developed for production of
4,500 tons/day of the item and its basic construction has completed.
The unit's methanol storage tanks have been pre-commissioned
and are ready for official startup, said one of the officials with the facility.
The unit is also equipped with a 75-megawatt
power plant which comprises 3 turbines, Mr. Ansari said.
The 57 active plants operating across the country
can supply up to 62 million tons of products annually, while the country's
envisaged output is 60 mt this calendar year.
