According to the plant's public relations, the agreement was signed on
Saturday by Hossein Shahryari, the plant's managing director, and Jan Egil
Braendeland, CEO of the KBR.
The aim of the agreement is improving the safety of units, optimization
of energy consumption, reduction of corrosion in the facility and renovation of
units.
KBR, UK, operates in the field of monetization technologies for
hydrocarbons (especially natural gas) and provides technical licenses for
construction of ammonia units.
Signing of the agreement comes after years of sanctions and cutting
off of technical and engineering communications with Iran.
It is hoped that the deal will lead to development of the activities at
Pardis Petrochemical Company.
