Speaking to NIPNA following IranPlast
Exhibition in Tehran, the official said the event was put together at a world-class
level, adding the showcase provided for an unparalleled opportunity for technology
transfer to the country.
She said the fair was mounted
in accordance with leading international exhibitions and with the help and
advice of organizers of such international events.
"Given the feedback we
have received from the fair, we hope the future editions of the showcase will
be held more comprehensively," the official said.
Shahdaei, who is also deputy
petroleum minister for petrochemical affairs, further said that IranPlast is a
recognized event in plastics and polymer industries in the region and even the
world where Iranian industrialists can learn about the latest developments in
the field.
At least 14 foreign
delegations visited the fair which opened on Sunday, September 24 and ran
through September 27 in Tehran.
The 11th edition of the event
was mounted with as many as 1,124 companies from 24 countries in the Iranian
capital, Iran.
The fair was organized in the
four sections of raw materials, end-used items, semi constructed items,
machinery and services.
The exhibitors came from
countries like Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Finland, France, Greece, India,
Serbia, Italy, South Korea, Austria, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Spain, United
Kingdom, Thailand, Czech, Cyprus, Turkey, Taiwan, China, Japan and the United
Arab Emirates.
