vice president Eshaq Jahanigiri is scheduled to attend the event’s opening
ceremony, director of the fair Reza Khalaj said.
Addressing
a press conference, Khalaj said 1,124 domestic and foreign exhibitors from 24
countries will run stands at the showcase, adding the foreign exhibitors will
be from Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Finland, France, Greece, India, Serbia,
Italy, South Korea, Austria, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Spain, United Kingdom,
Thailand, Czech, Cyprus, Turkey, Taiwan, China, Japan, the United Arab Emirates
and of course Islamic Republic of Iran.
He said
the number of foreign exhibitors at the showcase has increased by 21% from the
previous edition of the fair.
“Cancelation
of the sanctions is the major reason attributed to the rise of European
exhibitor’s participation in the 11th IranPlast Exhibition,” the
official said.
He further
said that 65 companies from Germany, 49 ones from Italy, 19 companies from
Austria and 15 companies from France are among the fair’s exhibitors.
IranPlast
is one of the largest and most important exhibitions in Iran, in the fields of
Raw Materials, Machinery & Moulds, Auxiliaries and Services for Plastics
& Rubber industries, as well as, one of the most magnificent ones in the
Middle East region and Asia.
Historically,
IranPlast has had a growing trend from the very first edition in 2002. Since
then, more than 4,000 companies from Iran and other countries have participated
at such a great exhibition event.
The
first 5 editions of IranPlast were organized annually but from the 6th session,
it became a biennale exhibition, in order to enhance its quality, structure and
organization.
IranPlast
2017 is held under the condition that while in the 11th IranPlast more than
1,100 Iranian and non-Iranian companies had participated in this exhibition and
more than 30,000 trade and public visitors had visited this show.
The 11th IranPlast is slated for September 24-27 2017 in Tehran.
