Nejad, the managing director of the refinery, said construction of the project has
made 59% progress so far.
The
project's pipe-lay operation has made 65% progress and its storage facilities
have made 55% progress, he added.

further added that the plant is to be fed by 56.6 million cubic meters of rich
gas from NGL units 900, 1000, 1200, and 1300.
75% of the
gas produced by the refinery will be injected to the national gas trunklines
and the rest will be used for production of by-products.
The refinery
is being built for a daily production of 48 mcm of suit and refined methane for
injection to the national gas distribution network, 1.5 million tons of ethane,
1.5 million tons of liquefied gas including propane and butane.
