Endorsed by the Supplying Petrochemical Industries Part Equipment and Chemical Engineering Company (SPEC), KTDC set the project in motion parallel with the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani's provincial tour to the northern province of Alborz.
The project was launched in a ceremony that was attended by Iranian Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh.
The catalysts can be used for production of reformate, co-precipitation and retrieval processes of metals from used catalysts.
The company has also planned to launch a production line for supplying Ziegler–Natta catalyst in the near future.
A Ziegler–Natta catalyst, named after Karl Ziegler and Giulio Natta, is a catalyst used in the synthesis of polymers of 1-alkenes (alpha-olefins).
