Localized at Pars Special Energy Economic Zone (Assalouyeh), the project is being completed with the aim of supplying 2,050 tons of ammonia and 3,250 tons of urea per day.
Besides, the project, when fully operational, will supply 1mt/y of urea and 670,000 tons of ammonia annually.
The plant is being completed with the 50% partnership of Pusri Company from Indonesia.
Furthermore, Haldor Topsoe and Saipem have agreed to provide licenses for the petrochemical project.
The plant is to be fed by 670 mcm of the gas recovered from the supergiant South Pars Gas Field in Persian Gulf waters.
