The wheelchairs were presented at a ceremony attended by Isfahan’s
deputy governor for political and social affairs, the CEO of Isfahan Gas
Company, the provincial welfare director general and other officials.
The initiative was carried out for the first time in Isfahan using
public contributions to the “Energy Pulse” campaign, with the aim of supporting
children in need and helping provide essential rehabilitation equipment.
Ebrahim Mohseni, CEO of Isfahan Gas Company, said social
responsibility is an integral part of the identity of service-oriented
organizations and that companies have a responsibility to support vulnerable
groups alongside their core operations.
He said the “Energy Pulse” campaign was launched with public
participation to promote more efficient energy consumption and has also created
an opportunity for longer-term social initiatives.
Mohseni said 930 wheelchairs had previously been distributed across
Iran under the campaign, while Isfahan has for the first time allocated part of
the campaign’s social prizes to children in need and rehabilitation equipment.
He described the initiative as an example of linking public
participation, energy efficiency and corporate social responsibility.
With the cold season approaching, Mohseni urged residents to join the
campaign and reduce unnecessary energy consumption, saying public cooperation
would help Isfahan Gas Company maintain stable gas supplies during the winter.
The campaign is available to residents at no cost through its official
platform. At the ceremony, the 25 wheelchairs were handed over to beneficiaries
in cooperation with Isfahan Gas Company and the provincial Welfare
Organization, with both institutions pledging to continue cooperation on social
initiatives.
