According to the company's Public Relations, the company
has a rich record in carrying out environmental projects including prominent measures
such as the vapor recovery project (VRU), recycling 80% of wastewater, creation
of more than 8 hectares of green space and several other effective activities
in this field.
In this regard, the company has announced its
full support for research projects aimed at assessing the impact of oil and gas
industries on the Persian Gulf marine environment, and has been officially announced
by the Environment Directorate of Bushehr Province as the supporter of
hunchback dolphins in the Persian Gulf.
Accordingly, this study project is aimed at
investigating the distribution and population of Persian Gulf dolphins in the Deir-Nakhilou
National Park in the protected area of Mand. This initiative is aimed at protecting
this species with the financial and logistical support of the company.
This project is being carried out by PLAN4theLAND
Association which has an acceptable record in marine studies at international levels
and has been actively interacting with domestic and foreign companies on
environmental agendas.
