Siavash Derafshi said the company's output in the
first quarter of the current calendar year had broken a new record by growing
53,000 tons with Rls. 2,770 billion of exports, up 15% percent year-on-year.
Addressing a meeting with CEO of the National
Petrochemical Company (NPC) Reza Norouzzadeh, Mr. Derafshi outlined TPC's
performance in the Q1.
During a visit to the facility, the NPC CEO
proposed that TPC align its R&D unit with the Petrochemical Research and
Technology Company (PRTC) in order to carry out joint technological projects in
the petrochemical industry.
TPC supplied 870,000 tons of polymer and non-polymer
products over the course of the previous Iranian calendar year, up 10.48% from
the preceding year.
