TPC Output up 15% in Q1

TEHRAN (NIPNA) -- Tabriz Petrochemical Company (TPC)'s output grew 15% in the first three months of the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 21, TPC managing director said.

Siavash Derafshi said the company's output in the first quarter of the current calendar year had broken a new record by growing 53,000 tons with Rls. 2,770 billion of exports, up 15% percent year-on-year.

Addressing a meeting with CEO of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC) Reza Norouzzadeh, Mr. Derafshi outlined TPC's performance in the Q1.

During a visit to the facility, the NPC CEO proposed that TPC align its R&D unit with the Petrochemical Research and Technology Company (PRTC) in order to carry out joint technological projects in the petrochemical industry.

TPC supplied 870,000 tons of polymer and non-polymer products over the course of the previous Iranian calendar year, up 10.48% from the preceding year.
