Marziyeh Shahdaei, who is also deputy petroleum minister in petrochemical affairs, and her deputies are to visit the petrochemical facilities in Assalouyeh and also attend the opening ceremony of two schools in rural areas of the region.
The officials will also attend a joint commission with the region's Sunni and Shia religious figures and hold a meeting with Mobin Petrochemical Plant.
Shahdaei will also attend the inauguration ceremony of the 8th Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Exhibition and will deliver a speech there.
PSEEZ was established in 1998 for the utilization of South Pars oil and gas resources and encouraging commercial activities in the field of oil, gas and petrochemical industries.
The zone is aimed at facilitating on-time execution of various oil and gas projects, providing appropriate foundations to attract local and foreign partnership with the aim of developing oil, gas and petrochemical industries as well as inter-related and downstream industries, creating local job opportunities and attracting skilled and semi-skilled workforce from neighboring provinces with regards to its positive effects on economic prosperity in the provinces of Bushehr, Fars and Hormuzgan.
This zone is located in the Persian Gulf coast and 300 kilometers east of the Port of Bushehr and 570 Km west of the Port of Bandar Abbas and approximately 100 Km off from the South Pars Gas Field (Continuation of the Qatar’s Northern Dome).
