Mohsen Paknejad said reconstruction work at four gas refineries and
fuel storage and loading facilities in Tehran that were damaged during the
recent war was progressing well.
“The implementation mechanisms for rebuilding the damaged facilities
have been finalized,” Paknejad said, adding that the work schedule had been
designed to restore part of the lost capacity by the end of the year, after the
winter season, with the remainder expected to become available in the first
half of next year.
A large workforce is involved in the reconstruction effort, the
minister said, adding that progress is being monitored on a weekly basis.
The restoration program covers facilities involved in gas processing
as well as the storage and loading of liquid fuels, according to the Oil
Ministry.
