Sepehdar Ansari Nik, Vice Chairman and CEO of Bandar Imam
Petrochemical, participating virtually, emphasized the importance of human
capital development as a cornerstone of the company’s modernization program.
“For the future of the company, we need managers with modern vision,
professional behavior, and up-to-date managerial capabilities,” he said.
He outlined the center’s objectives, including individual development,
succession planning, and performance evaluation, with a target of preparing 200
to 300 capable managers across production, human resources, technology, and
digital transformation. Ansari Nik called for active participation from current
managers, stressing that Bandar Imam should become a benchmark in leadership
development within the Persian Gulf Holding.
Gholamzadeh, Deputy for Technical and Production Affairs, highlighted
the central role of human capital in organizational progress. “Managers who
strengthen their personal, communication, and technical skills can set an
example for employee growth,” he said. He cited past responsible decisions,
including the temporary shutdown of the highly profitable chlor-alkali unit, as
examples of conscious and accountable management.
The center aims to accurately assess managerial competencies,
implement tailored development programs, and prepare leaders for greater
responsibilities, supporting the company’s expansion, including eight new units
under the “New Bandar Imam” development plan.
