The agreement, signed with the support of the CEO of Persian Gulf
Petrochemical Industries Company (PGPIC) and in the presence of Hassan
Abbaszadeh, Deputy Petroleum Minister and CEO of the National Petrochemical
Company, aims to address energy imbalances, support the growth objectives of
Iran’s petrochemical industry, and strengthen the production value chain.
The collaboration between the world’s largest concentrated methanol
producer and Iran’s largest utility company is expected to enhance operational
efficiency, ensure stable electricity supply, and further integrate upstream
and downstream operations within the country’s petrochemical sector.
