Mahmoud Aminnejad, vice president for planning and business
development at PGPIC, said stable feedstock supply and utilities are being
secured using the holding company’s full capacity to ensure continuous
operations, NIPNA reported.
“Projects at the final stage face their hardest and most
sensitive phase. The current team at Petrochemical Investment Holding (Petrol)
has played a crucial role in passing this stage,” Aminnejad said during a site
visit on Tuesday.
Adel Nejad-Salim, adviser to PGPIC’s CEO, praised the
efforts of the project team, highlighting the combination of young motivated
staff and experienced experts. He said preparations for marketing and
maintenance should begin ahead of the plant’s official inauguration.
Hamidreza Khalili, CEO of Petrol, said the new plant would
expand the company’s propylene downstream chain, generating significant value
for shareholders, Ilam province and Iran’s economy.
Ashkan Dashtizadeh, CEO of Arghavan Gostar Ilam, confirmed
the continuous operation of the unit’s extruder, activation of the main
polymerisation reactor and the start of polypropylene production processes.
“This is a technical milestone, and we will soon witness polypropylene output,”
he said.
