Omid Azamian, head of the complex, said the plant—originally designed
to receive 5,200 tons of feedstock daily—has recently exceeded 5,900 tons
thanks to the concerted efforts of its operational teams.
“With continued optimization and strategic upgrades in recent years,
we are now very close to reaching a sustained intake capacity of 6,000 tons per
day,” Azamian said, noting that this has directly translated into increased
product output and timely sales beyond initial design expectations.
He emphasized that the rise in output was made possible through
careful planning and implementation of targeted measures, ensuring the site’s
infrastructure and logistics kept pace with production growth.
Azamian also praised the site's operational stability in recent years,
highlighting uninterrupted production even during periods of scheduled
maintenance or temporary shutdowns in some units.
“Even when one or more operational units go offline, production
continuity remains intact due to technical planning and adaptability,” he
added.
The record-setting achievement underscores Bou Ali Sina's growing
strategic role in Iran’s petrochemical industry, particularly in meeting rising
demand and export commitments.
