According to a statement released by the public relations office of Persian
Gulf Petrochemical Complementary Industries Development and Investment Group
(PGPDIG), the operations began at the start of the Persian month of Mordad
(July 22), following the completion of all executive activities, receipt of
necessary permits from relevant authorities, and the support of the Persian
Gulf Holding.
The statement read: “We are pleased to inform all shareholders that,
with divine assistance and the dedicated efforts of colleagues at Arghavan
Gostar Ilam Petrochemical Company and the PGPDIG Group, feedstock injection
into the complex has started.”
The plant’s operational units are gradually coming online, taking into
full consideration all technical and safety protocols.
If feedstock supply remains stable and of adequate quality, and no
operational issues arise, the plant is expected to begin producing
polypropylene that meets technical specifications by the end of the current
month, the company added.
