The exhibition,
widely recognized as the largest trade event in the country, has drawn strong
participation from economic and political delegations. It is set to serve as a
major platform for commercial negotiations and diplomatic consultations aimed
at establishing new trade agreements.
Speaking at the
opening ceremony, President Masoud Pezeshkian underscored Iran's readiness to
foster international collaboration across economic, scientific, cultural, and
social spheres. "We respect the sovereignty of all nations and extend a
hand of cooperation in every area where mutual engagement is possible," he
stated.
Industry, Mining,
and Trade Minister Seyed Mohammad Atabak also addressed the event, emphasizing
the strategic importance of expanding trade with emerging markets in Africa,
South and Southeast Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe. He stressed that
Iran’s foreign trade policy goes beyond economic gains and seeks to enhance
international partnerships.
"Iran today
offers exceptional opportunities for investment and cooperation in sectors such
as mining, energy, technology, agriculture, and tourism. Our goal is to create
win-win collaborations and share our strengths with the global market,"
the minister added.
Iran Expo 2025
runs from April 28 to May 2 and highlights Iranian capabilities in exporting
goods, technical and engineering services, handicrafts, and tourism-related
products. The event is seen as a vital step in strengthening Iran’s commercial
