By this supplying
the item domestically, the country’s import of the item has been considerably
lowered.

Ahmadi, the managing director of Khuzestan Petrochemical Company, told NIPNA
that his company’s main focus was to meet the needs of the local market.
“Late last
calendar year (which ended on March 20), production of various grades was
considered in our company and we started research in this area afterwards which
led to a result in February,” he said.
Ahmadi added
the item was used in the headlights of cars and was previously imported from
Germany.
Thanks to
this achievement, the company can supply the lion’s share of the domestic
market for the item.
White polycarbonate
grade is used in electronic industries for production of sockets and power
points.
