The formal message was issued Saturday as public funeral ceremonies
concluded across major cities.
Vow of Retaliation
In his address, the new leader addressed the recent escalation in
regional conflicts, describing the death of his predecessor as a key turning
point for the nation.
Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei stated that exact retaliation for the
strikes on state leadership and national infrastructure remains a decisive
policy goal supported by the public. He affirmed that the military and
strategic objectives set by the state do not depend on individual officeholders
and will proceed regardless of future leadership changes.
"Revenge for the blood of the martyred leader and all victims of
these two conflicts is a definitive requirement," the statement noted,
adding that security apparatuses have compiled actionable directives regarding
those involved.
Acknowledgement of Public Processions
The leader expressed formal appreciation for the large-scale public
turnouts recorded across major urban centers during the multi-day funeral
proceedings. Processions and public gatherings were conducted across several regional
hubs, including:
- Iran:
Tehran, Qom, and Mashhad.
- Iraq:
Najaf and Karbala.
Institutional Alignment
The official address reaffirmed the ideological and operational
framework established under previous administrations, emphasizing that state
institutions, military command structures, and industrial sectors will maintain
their established operational trajectories.
The statement concluded with prayers for national stability, economic
resilience, and decisive military outcomes amid ongoing regional geopolitical
friction.
