Petrofarhang Appoints New Chief Executive Officer

TEHRAN, June 23 (NIPNA) – Petrofarhang Holding has appointed Seyed Mohammad Hashemikia as its new chief executive officer following approval by the company’s board of directors.

The appointment was announced during a ceremony attended by Ali Sadeghi, chief executive officer of the Cultural Educators Savings Fund, and Alireza Zeighami, chairman of Petrofarhang.

Hashemikia previously served for three years as a member of Petrofarhang’s board of directors. His professional experience includes serving as chief executive officer of Bidboland Engineering and Technical Co., board member of Qeshm Oil and Energy Industries Development Co., deputy head of Pars Petro Institute, and board member of Iran Offshore Installations projects.

He holds a Professional Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Tehran and a master’s degree in petroleum engineering from Amir Kabir University of Technology. He has more than 27 years of experience in the oil, gas, and petrochemical sectors.

Petrofarhang, a subsidiary of the Cultural Educators Savings Fund, holds stakes in a portfolio of energy and petrochemical companies, including Energy Sepehr Holding, Sabalan Petrochemical Company, Kimia Pars Middle East, Siraf Energy, Morvarid Petrochemical Company, Khorasan Petrochemical Company, and several other energy, petrochemical, and power-sector businesses.
