According to data released by the IME for the week ended June 19, the
combined transaction value of the ten leading companies exceeded 31.3 trillion
rials across the physical market.
National Iranian Copper Industries Co. ranked first, selling 3,927
tons of copper products, molybdenum oxide, molybdenum concentrate, and precious
metals concentrate valued at 10.39 trillion rials.
Steel producers occupied several top positions, with Khuzestan Steel
Co. ranking second after selling 81,565 tons of slab, bloom, billet, and argon
worth 5.36 trillion rials. South Kaveh Steel Co. secured third place with sales
of 59,700 tons of steel bloom and billet valued at 3.52 trillion rials.
Mining and Industrial Development companies also maintained a strong
presence. Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Co. ranked fourth with transactions
worth 2.96 trillion rials, while Iran Aluminium Co. (IRALCO) placed fifth with
sales valued at 2.38 trillion rials.
Among petrochemical producers, Shazand Petrochemical Co. ranked
sixth, selling 9,551 tons of polymer and chemical products worth 1.50 trillion
rials. Tondguyan Petrochemical Co. followed in seventh place with sales
of 6,050 tons of polymer and petrochemical products valued at 1.38 trillion
rials.
Golgohar Mining and Industrial Co. ranked eighth with transactions
totaling 1.32 trillion rials. Maroon Petrochemical Co. secured ninth
place after selling 7,087 tons of polymer products worth 1.27 trillion rials,
while Goharzamin Mining and Industrial Co. completed the top ten with sales
valued at 1.19 trillion rials.
The latest rankings highlight the continued contribution of
petrochemical producers to trading activity on the IME, alongside major
participants from the metals and mining sectors.
