Hassan Abbaszadeh, Iran’s Deputy Minister of Petroleum and CEO of NPC, discussed market supply solutions for Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) with managers of major domestic PET-consuming industries on Saturday.

During the meeting, the CEO of Persian Gulf Industry and Trade Company presented strategies and methods for supplying PET to industries. Representatives from the banking system and consumer companies also shared their perspectives.

At the conclusion of the session, it was agreed that the NPC, acting as the government’s representative, will pursue the mechanisms and procedures for meeting the industries’ needs through the relevant authorities. This initiative aims to support domestic production and ensure supply chain stability within the petrochemical sector.
