According to data from the organization's Investment Funds Oversight
Center, the influx of capital into these funds occurred between March 27, 2024,
and April 10, 2024.
Of the total 70 trillion tomans, 37 trillion tomans went into
redeemable-issue funds, while 33 trillion tomans were invested in
exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
Market analysts suggest that the one-day liquidity and monthly
dividend payouts offered by redeemable-issue funds made them more attractive
than ETFs during this period, especially given the public's need for monthly
income. Normally, smaller investors tend to favor ETFs, which typically offer
higher annual returns compared to redeemable-issue funds.
