Ali Rabani, speaking at the sixth prize draw and award event for the
“Energy Pulse” campaign held on Monday, April 13, urged fellow citizens to
finalize their decisions regarding the credit available in their “Energy
Wallet” by the end of Ordibehesht (May 21).
He stated that subscribers can use their saved credit to purchase goods,
receive cash, or contribute to charitable and social initiatives.
Rabani praised the charitable spirit of the participants, noting that over
450 million Tomans in cash, which subscribers had the option to withdraw, have
been returned to charitable causes by their own choice. This, he said,
demonstrates the high social responsibility of the people alongside their
efforts in energy management.
Equipping Smart Schools in Affected Regions
Rabani further elaborated on a new social initiative by the campaign.
Following recent attacks by “American-Zionist aggressors” that damaged several
schools, the campaign’s working group approved a plan to support students who
lack access to electronic equipment and smart educational systems, such as the
“SHAD” network.
He explained that a portion of the campaign’s resources will be used to
equip these schools with smart systems, enabling students to collectively
benefit from the teaching capacity of the country’s top educators.
Over 400,000 Households Join “Energy Pulse”
The manager of energy consumption optimization highlighted a significant
increase in household participation. In the second year of the campaign, in
addition to the continued involvement of first-year members, over 250,000 new
families have joined, bringing the total membership beyond 400,000 households,
surpassing last year’s target.
Rabani emphasized that energy consumption management is not limited to gas
but encompasses all forms of energy. Last winter, the electricity sector was
also active in the campaign. Subscribers who had registered both their gas and
electricity account numbers and achieved a 10% reduction in gas consumption and
a 10% decrease in electricity usage received an additional chance in the prize
draw.
Memorandum of Understanding Signed with Thermal Power Generation for Summer
Electricity Management
Regarding the expansion of cooperation in the electricity sector, Rabani
mentioned a memorandum of understanding signed between the National
Petrochemical Industries Company and the Thermal Power Generation Company to
enhance thermal power plants. Concurrently, negotiations are underway with
Tavanir (Iran’s electricity company) for the National Petrochemical Industries
Company to participate in managing summer electricity consumption.
Rabani also detailed support programs, stating that 3,000 high-efficiency
heaters have been procured, with 1,000 already delivered and the remaining
2,000 to be distributed to prize winners by the end of May.
He announced the implementation of the “High-Consumption Subscriber
Patching” program in cities with high participation rates. Through this
initiative, energy-saving equipment will be provided without a lottery to all
high-consumption subscribers who have achieved at least one period of over 10%
savings within the campaign.
Rabani noted that the sixth prize draw will include 6,000 winners, each
receiving 1 million Tomans, along with 1,000 high-efficiency heaters and 50
engine room facility loans. For the grand prizes in the final stage, scheduled
for the end of May, three prizes of 1 billion Tomans each will be awarded.
Achieving Level 3 in the system is necessary to qualify for these top-tier
prizes.
He further explained the conditions for participating in the final round:
subscribers must complete their information in the system, which will enable
them to advance to Level 2 and then Level 3. Subscribers who demonstrate over
10% savings for two consecutive periods from December to April will receive an
additional chance for the grand prizes.
Additionally, the upcoming bi-weekly draw will be for students who
participated in the “Idea Ran” project and are active on the SHAD platform. One
thousand prizes of 1 million Tomans each are designated for middle school
students, and one hundred prizes of 1 million Tomans each are for school
principals and teachers.
The manager of energy consumption optimization at the National
Petrochemical Industries Company urged all compatriots, especially subscribers
in the provinces of Gilan, Mazandaran, and Golestan, to join the national
movement for reducing energy waste by visiting nabzenergy.ir and to benefit from the tens of thousands of
prizes available.
