The certifications were awarded following “rigorous evaluation,
auditing and compliance with technical and managerial requirements,” Chief
Executive Javad Zarepour said.
ISO 9001 is the world’s most widely recognized quality management
standard, while ISO 29001 is tailored to the oil, gas and petrochemical
industries.
Zarepour said the awards underscored Petrofarhang’s commitment to
continuous improvement, higher efficiency, reduced operational risk and greater
stakeholder satisfaction.
He added that implementing management systems aligned with
international standards formed part of Petrofarhang’s broader strategy to
advance sustainable development, enhance organizational transparency and align
processes with evolving industry requirements.
“This is not a short-term objective but the beginning of a continuous
path of improvement,” Zarepour said, noting that social responsibility,
environmental compliance, knowledge transfer and human capital development
would remain ongoing priorities.
The company said this was the first time it had received the
certifications.
