TEHRAN, Feb 1 (NIPNA) – Bandar Imam Petrochemical Company (BIPC) recorded significant growth in production, sales, and exports during the first ten months of the Iranian year 1404 (March–January), the company said on Saturday.

The gains follow targeted investments to increase feedstock intake and modernize equipment at the Dehloran Petro-Refinery, the Howeyzeh refinery, and other southern oil-rich regions, the company’s public relations office said.

Total feedstock intake rose to over 3.27 million tonnes, an increase of nearly 11% compared with the same period last year. NGL feedstock intake grew 7% to more than 2.2 million tonnes.

Higher feedstock availability translated into increased output, with production exceeding 4.3 million tonnes, up about 7% year-on-year. The company expects annual production to surpass 5.2 million tonnes, maintaining its position as Iran’s top producer for the second consecutive year. Productivity indices also rose 7% to 713.

Sales volumes exceeded 3.2 million tonnes, up 30% from last year, generating revenues above 135 trillion rials. Propane, MTBE, and reformate accounted for the largest share of sales value. Exported volumes totaled over 1.5 million tonnes, earning around $890 million in foreign exchange, a notable contribution amid international sanctions.
