The ammonia plant reached 100% of its nameplate capacity after a
series of upgrades and operational improvements, the company’s public relations
office said. Management attributed the ramp-up to optimisation measures,
enhanced reliability of key equipment and stronger performance across
supporting units.
In a message to staff, Chief Executive Seyed Abdolmajid Khaksar
praised employees for their “discipline, technical maturity and coordinated
effort,” adding that the milestone reflects the growing operational capability
of the Hengam complex.
Khaksar said the company expects to bring its urea unit online by late
December, according to the current project schedule.
