Since beginning operations in 2007, the company has produced 38.6
million tons of urea and 25.8 million tons of ammonia, generating over $10
billion in foreign currency revenues. More than 27.2 million tons of urea and
3.9 million tons of ammonia were exported, while domestic supply accounted for
29% of total urea output. In May 2025, the urea-3 unit achieved production of
101% of its nominal capacity.
A major technical achievement has been the local development of
anti-caking urea, produced with nanoparticles and without chemical additives,
reducing formaldehyde emissions and facilitating access to stringent
international markets. This innovation is part of the company’s “green
industry” initiative, complemented by the “Hemmat” project, which captures
excess CO₂ and
methane in urea production, eliminating over 800,000 tons of CO₂ and 670 million cubic
meters of methane annually.
Pardis has also maintained ISO-certified environmental management
practices, including water (ISO 14046) and carbon footprint (ISO 14064)
assessments, and has been recognized as a “green industry unit” since 2020.
The company has expanded social responsibility programs, increasing
its CSR budget from 42 billion rials in 2023 to 100 billion rials in 2025.
Initiatives include construction of a 12-classroom school in Asaluyeh, support
for educational centers across Bushehr province, scholarships, cultural camps
for youth, and social justice programs, including financial assistance to
prevent imprisonment for minor debtors.
Pardis has also invested in cultural projects, supporting local
galleries and educational programs, and has actively promoted energy
conservation, contributing to a national campaign that saved over 41 million
cubic meters of gas and approximately $3 million in transport costs.
In public relations and research, Pardis has achieved national
recognition, winning 14 top awards at the 20th National Public Relations
Festival for innovative use of media, AI-generated content, and communication
tools.
“As we celebrate 18 years, Pardis has demonstrated that industrial
growth, technological innovation, and social responsibility can advance
together,” said Mohsen Amini, Director of Public Relations and International
Affairs.
The anniversary underscores Pardis Petrochemical’s role as a leading
industrial hub in South Pars, blending production excellence with environmental
stewardship, social investment, and adoption of knowledge-based technologies.
