In his message, Paknejad highlighted the crucial role of safety and
emergency preparedness in Iran’s strategic oil and gas sector, which faces
natural hazards, industrial risks, and potential external threats.
He recalled the sacrifices of firefighters and oil workers during the
12-day conflict, saying their courage and dedication ensured energy security
under crisis conditions.
The minister stressed the need for a stronger safety culture,
preventive measures, and improved emergency response capabilities to achieve
the goal of a “safe and accident-free oil industry,” the report said.
